Tucked away on Argyll’s Secret Coast, Strathlachlan is within easy reach of Inveraray and Dunoon (both around 40 minutes away), with the village of Strachur just a short 10 minute drive. A gentle 15 minute walk leads to the atmospheric ruins of Old Castle Lachlan.
The Heritage
Established in 1968, Strathlachlan Caravan Park is owned and run by the Maclachlan family. The park enjoys a unique setting beside both the historic ruins of Old Castle Lachlan and the still-occupied New Castle Lachlan, the ancestral seat of Clan Maclachlan.
